Post session tips
We advise all our customers to do the following in order to get the most out of their massage therapy session:
Massages can help release toxins from your body, so it’s important to flush them out by drinking plenty of water.
Alcohol can dehydrate your body, which is the opposite of what you want after a massage.
After a massage, it’s important to take it easy and allow your body to rest. Avoid strenuous activities and give yourself time to relax.
Wait at least 30 minutes after your massage to shower or bathe to give the oil or lotion used in the massage time to fully absorb into your skin.
If you’re feeling hungry after your massage, opt for a light meal that won’t weigh you down.
Caffeine can interfere with the relaxation you’ve achieved during your massage, so it’s best to avoid it if possible.
Light stretching can help reduce any post-massage soreness.
If you have any concerns or questions about your massage therapy session, do not hesitate to follow up with your therapist. We can provide additional tips and advice to help you get the most out of your massage experience.
